L is the quirky character who trusts almost no-one and is an introverted genius…i love him…

i love him, especially in the movie!!!

L is the best Death Note character. Death Note is one of the best anime that I have seen and I really hate the fact that L died. No matter, he is still the best character in that anime. And Ken'ichi Matsuyama is the best person to play as L in the live-action. I just can't wait for L-the movie next year.

In the anime, does anyone know what L said to Watashi in the beginning of the episode where he dies and also what he meant when he told Light that he was sad and that Light will soon understand?

Also at the end of the series where an apparition of L watches Light die made me cry hysterically for some reason I really can't figure out, I didn't cry when he actually died. I think it was just how those geniuses who made the story set the whole scene up. Also probably then I just accepted that he died and he's been long dead since I watched the movie first and was waiting the whole rest of the series for him appearing (alive) again with some crazy smart explaination of how he escaped death. They should've at least make L smile at the end so we know he's happy instead of keeping his eyes covered and his mouth emotionless which makes it so depressing! :(
