Közi

Közi is the ex-guitarist from Malice Mizer, a visual kei band which disbanded in 2001 after several lineup changes. Közi toured with Haruhiko Ash’s band Eve of Destiny, then went solo in 2002 and released a set of dual singles; KHAOS , containing the tracks ISM and Cacophony, and KINEMA , containing Promenade and Honey Vanity, the latter being one of his most popular songs. All of these tracks appeared on his first full-length album Katarushisu (Catharsis). Közi also recorded the soundtrack included with the book “Izayoi no Tsuki” by author Minako. The Izayoi no Tsuki soundtrack was followed by his MEMENTO single, containing two different remixes of MEMENTO and one new remix of Honey Vanity. Közi has stated that the MEMENTO single was meant as a tribute to the beloved drummer of Malice Mizer Kami, who passed away from a spontaneous subarachnoid hemmorage (a kind of brain aneurysm) in 1999. As of 2006, Közi has released a 3000 limitation album entitled LOKI ‘N ROLL (which is very good btw…^^) He is believed to be interseted in S&M and has an eyeball fetish. He has two cats named Zaku and Rara and an ESP guitar named Akauzukun. His music is more industrial rock, but is much more distinct from that of Eve of Destiny. He also seems to be delving back into visual kei as far as appearances with his new album.
