Vampire Princess Miyu (aka. Kyuketsuki Miyu) is a Japanese animated series. So far, there are four-part Original Animated Videos (OAV) and 21 episodes TV Series (25 episodes in Japan) released, total of 7 volumes in US. There are six-part series of Manga and a comic novel created by Narumi Kakinouchi. There are a few differences between the OAV, TV Series and the manga. But basically it's an outstanding Animated-Vampire story
The story started with a curious spiritualist name Himiko Se. Himiko tries to investigate the story and myth about Miyu. Obviously there is a hidden tie between Miyu and Himiko.
Vampire Princess Miyu is the young girl who belongs to the race of Shinma (Supernatural beings who are refered to as Gods or Demons). Miyu's job is to gather stray Shinma on Earth, and returning them to the Dark. Aiding her is Larva, a silent, masked companion, protector, friend and more. According to the story, Miyu does not kill life, but to give a eternal life to human in return for their blood.
Her golden eyes, they are strange, and yet beautiful...
