Kyla Ebbert was told by Southwest Airlines to get off a plane because her outfit was inappropriate. Kyla was wearing a white miniskirt, tank top and a sweater at the time. Maybe the miniskirt was a little shorter than the next person's, but there's no evidence that suggests Kyla was not reasonably dressed to fly on a Southwest flight. If you have ever flown Southwest Airlines, then you know Kyla was probably one of the better dressed passengers on that flight anyway, and most of the time you'll see all variety of slobs travelling on SWA (which is about the closest thing any of the airlines comes to travelling on a Greyhound bus.)
Since when did Southwest Airlines start applying a fashion test to determine whether passengers could fly on their planes? These folks used to have a reputation for being pleasant, but this episode indicates a level of moral conservativism that is surprising for any US airline.

When I first heard that this girl was kicked off a flight for her outfit, I thought "Oooooh, I have got to check this out", and when I saw her outfit, I remember thinking... "And?" There was absolutely nothing wrong with this poor girls outfit, I actually thought it was very nice, yeah, her skirt was short, and she is attractive... I really don't think it's ground for being tossed off a flight. I don't believe in suing for frivolous things, but she certainly has grounds. A very pleasant girl too.
If this Hooter's waitress wants to be like the Hollywood sluts who've discovered that if you have no talent, but still need to be the center of attention, you can show your vagina to people and that will get you in the newspapers, on tv shows, even on radio, then I say, hey, more power to her. It's just another sign that this country's morals and ethics died a long time ago. When Kyla stood up to show Matt her little "skirt" and then sat down, you could plainly see her panties, and I suspect that she wasn't quite so careful about how she was sitting in the airplane seat as she was about how she was sitting on the Today show couch...she made a real effort to pull the skirt down over her ass when she sat down...if she hadn't, who knows what would've flashed before Matt's eyes! And I would bet money she was wearing a thong under that so-called "skirt" when she made her trip to Tucson, which means there is a good possibility that her cheeks were cleary visible to anyone who cared to take a look, either as they walked down the aisle or, if they were really lucky, as that sat near her. You go Kyla. We'll see the rest of you in Playboy soon! You sure know how to play the game and your Mom is surely very pround of you! By the way, was the trip to the "Dr" in Tucson actually to see someone about some breast implant surgery or something along those lines?
I have seen much worse on airlines. I guess it depends on how you define obscenity. I see very large men and women wearing clothing that is much too small or extremely revealing, with parts of themselves billowing over, and out of their clothes. I may be put off by skimpy clothing and too much skin on anyone, but I am not the fashion police, and Southwest airlines shouldn't be either!
I just heard that somebody complained about her outfit… maybe they should have bee ushered off the plane? If you have a problem with purdy people, don't look at them!!
