Old timers on the board will remember Kristara, although younger visitors may be totally unfamiliar with her work. Only a small percentage has been transferred to DVD . Kristara was the biggest Asian starlet of the 80’s, however, at times her mixed Eurasian ethnicity allowed her to be cast as white girl as well. She appeared in approximately 175-200 movies between 1984 and 1989, although her catalog leans heavily toward the middle part of the decade. Kristara was also one of the nastier girls in her day, performing in anal scenes long before it was the norm. Anal themed movies such as Caught From Behind III , Tailenders and Deep Chill were on the fringe and considered risky for producers. Kristara’s defining role was probably in the original New Wave Hookers, directed by the infamous Dark Brothers. Kristara (and the rest of the dream cast) made an indelible impression on a whole generation of porn fans as a Sushi hooker in a mini-skirt.
Many years after Kristara exited the industry, rumors emerged she was underage at the time some of her movies were filmed. To the best of my knowledge, no direct evidence to support this claim ever emerged. However, all of Kristara’s scenes in the classic Every Woman Has a Fantasy have been cut. At least one adult authority contends this was her first movie, not Woman’s Secret Desires.
