Keeping up Appearances

A comedy about a social snob named Hyacinth Bucket. It’s pronounced Bouquet, but only to her. Hyacinth always helps her husband drive. “Mind the horse dear.” She refers to her rich sister who is married to a cross dresser as “It’s my sister Violet! She’s the one with the Mercedes, sauna, and room for a pony.” She despises her poor sister Daisy and her husband Onslow, and her promiscuous sister Rose. She tries to cover up these parts of her life as to not damage her social reputation, but is never capable of it.
