A pork cutlet, breaded & deep fried, then sliced. Placed on top of a bowl of rice, covered with a sauce of onions & cooked egg and bursting with flavor.

It has been more than 30 years since I've had Katsudon. My former mother-in-law made it for me and I loved it. I have craved it for all these years but didn't remember the name of it. Now I know and can search the web to find a recipe. It is an excellent dish!
