British rock band from Leicester. Members: Tom Meighan- vocals, Sergio Pizzorno- guitar, vocals, Chris Edwards- bass, Ian Matthews- drums. Their live act is amazing, and their music is a mixture of psychedelic influences, glam rock and electronic/experimental sounds. Every tune takes you by surprise and becomes even better when played live. Check them out, ace band!

Good for you timothy! Enjoy them! :)) I bought their first album as soon as it was released, because I immediately liked their music, but was only able to see them for the first time in Feb 07 in Munich——LOVED THEM :D I had to go to Munich because they didn’t come to Italy…sob :)
Yeah Kasabian are great live! I saw them too and they were amazing. Enjoy them. Sergio Pizzorno is so charismatic, in my opinion.. ;-)
how do you actually pronounce their name? It’s one of those things that does my head in.
Hi erinmae, the name Kasabian means Butcher in Armenian (perhaps you already knew this) .. :D They pronounce the word sort of: KASSEIBIAN (I can’t use phonetics here unfortunately…LOL) Hope this helps a little bit :)
I saw them live in Germany and they really rock. I love their track L.S.F., a real anthem. wow :)
I just saw them live at Wembley for Live Earth, they were absolutely brilliant. They rocked the place!!!
