Kaori Yuki (由貴 香織里 Yuki Kaori) is a manga artist (or mangaka) from Tokyo. Her birthday is on December 18.
“Kaori Yuki” is a penname: “Kaori” is her real first name, meaning “perfume”; “Yuki,” the created portion, means “logical”. She became a professional manga artist in 1987, after placing in one of the many contests held by Hana to Yume. She rarely appears at events and tends to withhold personal information, thus little is known about her. She usually publishes in Bessatsu Hana to Yume.
Many of her stories have gothic undertones, featuring dark characters involved in forbidden relationships with strong moral, philosophical and religious overtones. As a great fan of movies and Alice in Wonderland, many references to Alice, as well as various sci-fi and horror movies, can be found in her manga. Her biggest success was Angel Sanctuary, which has been adapted into an OVA and released in several countries. Her more recent manga, Blood Hound has also been adapted into a very loosely based TV series.

Some of my first manga were her stories. Like Blood Hound (lighter than her usual plot), Boys Next Door (Not a fan of Boy Love but this one was good), Cain Saga, Cruel Fairytales (cool and creepy), and Ludwig Kakumei.
Love her stories. You get sucked in with the plot. She draws beautifully too.

The Cain Saga and Godchild are amazing. Ahhh, what an awesome manga series. The characters were interesting and attractive, the plot was solid, and the whole thing was really creppy in a pretty sort of way. Not many other manga can top this series.
i love Kaori Yuki, i loved Lui he was interesting xD and i loved the cain saga & Godchild and most of her things.

I wonder if she’s ever made a manga that’s not amazing.
