Juline takes place in an “isolated mountain community” where the next generation of the world’s greatest martial artists are being trained. Evidently they do their own police work as well, because no cops have been called to do something about the fact that various denizens of the Kenga Clan have been taking some serious lumps from students of the Black Pearl clan. Most curious about this state of affairs is Juline Kenga, teenaged heir to the clan and accomplished martial-arts student in her own right.
