Joint-Cracking

Horrah for knuckle cracking while the classroom is dead quiet during a test.

is it true that itll give you artheritis (sp) ? I really hope not.

I think that’s just an old wives’ tale.

Yes,

though my physical therapist tells me that, by cracking joints, the stress that is there is pushed back in rather than let out, so it builds up.

What happens when it builds up?

The amount of gratification I get from cracking my joints ebbs and flows, which I think is interesting.

I just counted, and I’ve established 40 different motions that result in my joints cracking. Um, I have a problem.

I think it just becomes more painful once it builds up. :)

I recently did my thesis on joint cracking and from what I discovered from life long “jc’s” as I like to call them, eventually the pressure will build up so much that explosion of the joint is eminent. It’s pretty gross to, you wouldn’t want to see it. This girl I work with said that her best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with the girl who saw her grandpa’s hand explode in church… true story.

I’ve heard that too…

Oh stop, you’ll get me over-excited! :P But seriously thats an impressive array of joints that you can crack.

eventually i’d like to get to a point where i can just focus my energy and do it all in one big CRACK !

Somehow I can pop the side of my foot and also the back of arm between my shoulder and elbow. It’s very odd
