Johnny's Jimusho is a talent agency that was established by Kitagawa Johnny and his sister Mary back in the early 60's. It has dominated the Japanese boy band market ever since. Just about all the top male groups on Japanese television today are members of this stable. Most of them not only dominated the music industry, they are also known for appearing everywhere from doramas to TV commercials.
Johnny's Jr. consists of young boys, probably around early teens, being "trained" to sing and dance. When they reach a certain age they move on to debut as part of a group, duo, trio or even solo. Most "juniors-in-training" end up being back up dancers for their seniors who already debuted. The Juniors are divided into groups with leaders.
Debuted groups are: Arashi,Golf & Mike,J-FRIENDS,Kanjani8,KAT-TUN,Kinki Kids,NEWS,Shonentai,SMAP,Tackey & Tsubasa,TOKIO,V6

i read on the net about the owner sexually assaulted a certain talent before in which he published it on his book....also the media wont bother since " they cant kill the goose that laid so many golden eggs"....if i got it right. i will try to look for it and post it here...also they were not allowed to take photos with their fans, have a girlfriend...dont you guys think its too much, i mean those boys need to be loved too...my own opinion.
other than that i think they were cute and talented boys...they could act ,sing and dance as well.

But why the Johnny's focus only on male groups? Well, the man himself once claimed that they're just easier to handle. But the exact meaning of "handle" has been the subject of great speculation over the years. In 1988 Kita Koji, a member of the Four Leaves, wrote a tell-all diary in which he described being molested by Kitagawa and other idols. Similar claims were made in another book published in 1996. One story has Inagaki Goro hardly able to do his dance routines after enduring the romantic advances of Kitagawa. Though they're widely believed to be true, the squeaky clean image of pretty boy-next-door groups has hardly been dented by these accusations. This is perhaps associated with the fact that many young Japanese women are also fans of bishonen manga, comic books in which pretty young boys have romantic encounters. Also Johnny's Jimusho has been so hugely powerful for the last couple of decades that the media dares not kill this goose that has laid so many golden eggs.

i've only heard songs from a few band groups! I'm listening to the group's songs! BUT I still think that Johnny's Jimusho is the best talent agency I've known so far! I know that there's others but I prefer Johnny's!!!! :)
