Don't you just want to pinch his cheeks…and then run away the minute he says absolutely anything?.... Ah, yes. Bush 2.0 has been born. May lord have mercy on us should he be elected.. I don't think we can stand another four years of this level of idiocy…

I will answer your question i am voting for McCain due to his strong record, experiences, and personal beliefs. He believes in pro-choice which i am strongly for i do not believe that woman should be able to end an life which i believe life starts the minute it is conceived like he does Obama believes you can terminate as the baby is coming out into this world very cruel and unhuman to me as a person who can not physically have children i am in support of adoption this is most important to all republicians we tend to have morals! Now onto his ideas for american future he plans for our independence from foreign sources of oil; progress that will not only begin to alleviate the environmental threat posed from climate change, but will greatly improve our security as well. He also plans to make healthcare more accessible to americans which is something that needs to be done too many are without health care and get turned down which needs to be fixed and he plans to fix it. He will also end the war in iraq all in good time i think with the lack of experience obama has he will pull our men out too soon which would cause all the men we have lost to be in vain. I have 4 friends over in iraq that i know personally in real life and i have a cousin that is serving i believe we are doing major good which people dont understand nor are willing to look at the bigger picture everybody i know that has gone to iraq sign up to go back if they are able to me that shows me we are doing more then what the media wants us to know.. thats why i am voting for McCain Smile

besides the abortions, his plans doesnt seem much diffrent then obama's. atleast the ones you named.
Can you think of anymore?

i hope mccain wins, just because things will get even more messy at the otherside of the ocean.
About 80% of people in europe would vote for obama, just because he is the lesser evil to choose from.
I just only hope one day the dollar will get that weak they stop trading oil in dollars, and use euro's instead. (=the only reason for the invasion in iraq)

Ashley17021
Ashley17021 posted about 1 year ago

Well I personally do not see McCain as the bigger evil.  But I do not see the same side of the playing field as someone on the other side of the ocean would see it. But as an american my biggest issue is the fact Obama believes that the government is the answer to all our problems here. He feels the need to that the government should take all our resources and make our decisions for us. That is one of the big changes he talks about since he feels americans dont know what is right or even in our best interest. If that doesnt show he lack experiences then i dont know what would I feel like he is a young man trying to run as an old guys thoughts while McCain is a older guy but he understands things need to be different and has the experiences to understand what doesnt work because he been in the goverment system alot longer. Now on to the Iraq war i admit that oil was part of the reason we went into Iraq to security our nations well being. We are in iraq fighting for those people freedom from the sphere of influence that the terrorists hold on the people that want to have rights. We are also there because those terrorist have declared war against americans and I dont know about you but in a fight i would rather be on offense then be on the defense side any day which Obama and some young people dont understand I personally believe that if we pull our men out too soon and not make sure its at the right moment we will have another attack on our soil and lose more people. Most people i know that have served understand this its just the ones that join our military then cry home to mom and dad because they want the free education, travel, medical, ect but dont understand what they are committing themself to do for our country. Now your comment over the euro to the dollar my friend the euro is already on the rise compared to the dollar if i am not even mistaken i believe that the euro is worth more i believe our dollar is only worth 81 cents when compared to the euro. I also believe some places are already using euros in place of the dollar when buying oil. That is why its so important that McCain wins for us americans they are for off shore drilling and also are wanting to drill in Alaska which i am all for but people only look at the nice pictures of alaskas lands but they are wanting to drill in a waste land and democratics are against this which would ease our demand on foreign oil supplies.

well atleast you thought about it alot, thats good that people know why they vote etc. :)
Most people just vote without thinking and or don't vote at all. So good job i think.

But you are mistaken with the euro, oil is still calculated in dollars. The reason oil prices are high is because the dollar is weak. but thats a other discussion :)

You actually left a nice comment i am shocked Wink... i like to think i am up to date with the reasons to vote for who i chose. But you are right alot of people dont get all the facts and complain when things go wrong in our country. I believe only the people that vote can have a say and the ones that are old enough but dont take this right we have unlike in some countries are stupid and have the nerve to complain. That is something i complain to my grandparents about they complain about bad health care in their old age but refuse to vote its crazy nor do i understand them. Now on to the euro i am pretty sure some countries are already adapting to this concept due to the dollar falling but your def right thats another arguementCool

im not as bad as you think ;) just like to keep things on the egde :-p
SO here is a other q. Why dont you vote for obama? besides that you think mccain is better.

Ashley17021
Ashley17021 posted about 1 year ago
Why dont i vote for him thats kinda easy we have two different sets of morals, i dont like his way of thinking about our economical problems and his idea what will help us get out of this funk we are in such as his idea on how to help americans keep their houses i feel like his plan will only fail compared to the republican side, but its his reasons and morals that i am against if he was more on my side of thinking i might vote for him but he is way out in left field with me so i wont ever vote for him. I feel like he personally plays on the fence too much with important issues and cant take a side and stick to it i would have more respect for obama if he would decided what he is for and stick to his guns and support his opinion on important matters if you look at his voting record he is more neutral on important issues and i feel we are doomed if he becomes the president as for he couldnt even vote for important issues in the senate he declines to vote instead of being for or against something so how could i respect a guy who can even be true to himself by voting for or against something he believes in but insteads declines to have a voice. If i was in the senate trust me i would vote everytime and i would make sure my voice was heard even if i was the only one to disagree with something i feel its important to be vocal and true to oneself I see him as being an fake which is why i dont vote for him and I have more respect for McCain for admitting things and being more upfront so how could i note be for the opposite guy when he has the same morals, he is vocal, and he is loyal to the fold personally my kind of person which clearly obama is not Wink

I'm a rare french who would like McCain wins. Obama is a fake. Obama is an illusion. Obama is without dubts, full of liars. His true religious faith is not clear. I believe he didn't want to show his "original" birthchart. I'm sick of it. He's made propaganda of 30min add on many TVs in the US. Moreover, his wife seems to have the hatred for many people, in her eyes.

Obama is BRAINWASHING.

Go McCain !!!!!

Well, that is a very wonderful explanation. I'm sure we're all glad you spoke up.

.....Hoover. Truman. Regan. Clinton. Yes, we are all screwed, trickle down was so successful.

On policies of war, they exchange one Islamic country for the next.

If you're afriad of what they are going to do with all the aborted fetuses... just turn your head.

Now, if you please chica, tell us why we are screwed. Christ. Might we see from one individual that actually knew what any of McCain's policies were? Perhaps you previous commenters vote from the spew of you parents?

"If you're afriad of what they are going to do with all the aborted fetuses... just turn your head."

I guess that coming from a male i shouldnt be too surprised with that remark nor can i feel i can make you see things from my side as a female who cant have children EVER at the age of 24 so i wouldnt expect you to understand me so i feel we will agree too disagree on that topic.

Now regan we were screwed over by his regan economics policy which bush then turned around and did like an idiot when it was proven to be a failure and not sure if i would have linked mccain with regan or even obama as for they plan different approaches thanks to our economy being in a poor state its in at the moment.

I voted like my mom but not because thats how she told me to vote i voted with the person i could live with and be able to sleep at night.. but one could also turn the tables and want to know why you voted for obama and how you feel he was the best of choice with his big change so far i see him walking in the same foot steps as before with looking to get most of clintons workers in his office to me a big change isnt going back to the old but i am more curious if you were some of the youth that actually believed you were chatting with obama in those chatrooms and how you feel about his funding coming from known terrorist against our country Undecided

Vano
Vano posted 11 months ago

That was dry humor. However, I don't see why not being able to have children should be a ruling factor for a stance. Well, rather I can see why, but just as a president shouldn't let its personal life affect its job, a citizen shouldn't let its personal life affect its vote. That's sort of like an "I can't have them, so you shouldn't be able to get rid of them." I am not an Obama supporter, just as I am not a McCain supporter, so you can't say a statement such as that means I'm pro anything. I am more of a cynical observer. My sex does some weight in terms of experience, but I'd say that sex really has nothing to do with an abstract individual's decision.

Reganomics! With those comparisons, I was pointing out the differences in policies during negative times. That is, Socialist policies triumphed over trickle down theory.

I didn't vote at all. I thought my choices were a laugh. The third party canidates were even more of a joke. I just watched to see what would happen.

For curiousity's sake, what "known terrorist" are you referring to? I really hope you don't drop the names I think you will.

I picture Obama as a very classic Stoic, charismatic man. He reminds me all at once of Alexander the Great, Napoleon, Hitler, Churchill. Interesting and strange. I actually don't find too much outside of his personality so different from McCain. They're both centrist. His views are even a bit Right for the drastic change we need if it's going to be coming from the "Left." That is, just as McCain is not Right enough (a Ron Paul style Right is what I am referring to, I don't consider Evangelism as a platform "Right").

Thank you for responding. I appreciate it. People rarely seem to say anything in reply to anyone on this site anymore that is well thought out and worth reading. Wow- I believe we may be having a conversation!

Well i was that way before I couldnt have children and didnt know it lol.. but I just dont like the idea of how life can be disgaurded so easly as a form of birth control i know not everything is black and white and is simple but I am just firm in my beliefs on it i think if a girl should get an abortion her options for being able to become a mother down the road is taken from her and she should be forced to be fixed in away it cant be reversed probably makes me sound cruel about my opinion on the matters.. and another why wouldnt you take the right as an american to vote regaurdless mccain wasnt my first choice i was for fred thompson at the beginning but i dont see in not excerising my right to cast my voice regaurdless i find the system flawed it should be on the number of votes because i wouldnt give ca the amount its worth or even florida but thats my opinion it should be more on popular vote so i would feel like my voice was more heard but even if i didnt like both runners up i would have voted for the lesser evil so i had a right to b*tch when things go down hill as for i feel the ones that dont vote dont have a place to complain...and your views on obama being a charismatic man i am in fully agreement all great evil men who made an impression on history had a sliver spoon tongue that in which obama does he wins over people by certain words he is def a smooth talker which the ones you named off were how else would they have got the power they achieved in their life time and done all the harm... now i am not sure if you are wanting me to name the ones involved with the weather ground i find it shady to even go and befriend someone like william ayers but i was thinking more along the ties with like nadhmi auchi, tony rezko who helped him into senate but then again the plan was in ayers living room if my memory is correct on my thinking i am also sure more people over seas invested into his running but i find it strange one would be friends with a guy like ayers who has even said during his time in the weatherground he didnt bomb enough, and to not want to show his orginal birth certificate not hard for one with friends in the right places to get a fake one...and no problem about me responding i enjoy a good chat anytime i learned i shock people by being an TH fan i might if i dare say it have a brain lol.. but your welcome in me responding since i been the only one on this file too Laughing

For one thing... Ayers? You might want to do more research on that one.

For another, I am commenting, and if I didn't have a right to speak on such matters then I wouldn't be. You are speaking along invisible lines and my refusal to vote, though registered is just as much a vote as yours. It's a vote for "none of the above."
