Born in Los Angeles, California, Sweetin first stepped into showbiz by doing an Oscar Meyer hot dog commercial when she was just four years old. Her debut role was in The Hogan Family in 1987, in which she played Pamela, the niece of Mrs. Poole. She also provided the voice of Sally Brown in It’s Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown. It was her acting ability and smile that attracted the attention of Jeff Franklin, who created a new sitcom that would ultimately become Full House. Sweetin was cast as role of Stephanie Tanner, and was on the show for its entire (8 years) run until its cancellation in 1995. During that time she became well known for her role and developed a large number of fans.
