I personally hate Jacob Black. Who does he think he is trying to steal Bella away from Edward? And hes such a loser and sinks to the lowest lows to make Bella feel bad for him. Blahhh! He disgustes me! I do find it nice that he kept Bella sane when Edward was gone, but other than that I don't like him in the slightest.

It's weird because I want to hate Jacob, but I can't. He sometimes seems like this really annoying fly that won't go away, and then at the same time he's always in the back of your mind. It's sooo irritating. Just leave Bella alone! But then again, she needs him sometimes. Then she's using him. And Edward is soo hot! I don't know! SO CONFUSING! Poor Bella.

I just can’t hate Jacob the poor guy really and he knows he can only ever come second and he still doesn’t seem mind really, thought he hates edward which is sad since they both want the same thing. Oh and may I just say that the guy playing edward in the movie is just such a little cutie, tho he will have to grow up heaps (litteraly) by the next movie.

My Personal View on Jacob.

When I say that I love Jacob, it doesn't mean that I wanted him to end up with Bella. A lot of people sometimes misunderstand that. I wanted Edward to be with Bella in the end, for sure. The reason's that I prefer Jacob to Edward (as a character) are many.

I HATED that when Bella wanted to see Jacob, Edward prevented her from doing so, and that she had to sneak around him. It's just ridiculous. I mean, he took the engine out of her freaking car! I know that I couldn't deal with that.

Edward is so mean to Jacob from the start. He's not nice to Jacob before he's a werewolf, and he's not nice afterwards.

Also, I hate that people say that Jacob is a jerk. He is mean to Edward because Edward is mean to him. Not only that, but he is MEANT to hate Edward, he's a werewolf!

Bella is a flighty skank, in my opinion. People hate that Jacob comforted Bella and flirted with her when Edward was away, but SHE went to HIM. As soon as Edward left, she just jumped on the next boy she found.

Jacob wants Bella for himself, sure. And yea, he does bad things to try and get her away from Edward. But hell, he's like 15-17 age range! Yea, he makes Bella feel guilty for choosing Edward, as he should! Bella totally led him on, and then ditched him.

In all honesty, Bella, not Jacob, should be bashed for all the troubles that went on in that little love triangle. She, as she is telling him that they can never be together (time reference, the end of Eclipse, when Jacob is hurt and lying in bed and she is talking with him) goes and snuggles with him in bed. She is a total skank. She, when she is kissing him, imagines them having kids! She says that she loves Edward, then CHEATS ON HIM, and is having fantasies about growing old with another guy!

Jacob just wanted Bella to be safe, something much easier to do if she was with him other than Edward. After all, Bella is a clumsy girl. And after the first chapter of New Moon, who could blame Jacob for wanting her out of that environment? She cuts her finger, and Jasper jumps on her!

Stephenie Meyer doesn't think of Jacob as a bad character either. She likes him!

(Also, I think that the way you read Jacob's character DOES matter in how you think of him. I read the books aloud to my mom, and the way I read it made her love Jacob. My friend read him as a jerk, just trying to piss Edward off, but I read him as a kid, who likes a girl a lot, and will do a lot to get her, but ends up making himself look a bit foolish.)

Once again, I DO NOT think that Jacob and Bella should have ended up together, I wanted Edward to be with her for sure. I just wanted Jacob to end up happy, and he did.

Taylor Lautner is going to play Jacob again in New Moon.  He's cute, but I was hoping Steven Strait (see pic above with the blue jean jacket) would get the role.  He's older and sexier and I think would pull off the new Jacob better.  In any event, I loved New Moon and can't wait to see it!!

first off i really disliked the twilight movie, ppl gave kristen so much crap about her acting but it wasn't her. robert pattinson sucks egg he did not do edward justice.. AT ALL!  he couldn't begin to capture the intensity of edward. anyway that being said i hear alot about ppl not liking jacob, personally i just can't see why and i'm not saying because taylor is so freaking hot (and ya haters he is!)

when bella was a sad miserable sack of nothing coming apart at the seams, he picked her sorry a$$ up and put her back together. he was there for her whenever she needed him (we all know she needed him alot) and in doing that he fell in love with her...why? god only knows (stupid man)

then HE comes back and she forgets about him but he stays there for her.. stupid man only for her to hurt him time and time again.

so did he do some childish things to try to get her to see him.. yeah but can you really blame him?

the way i figure is there are 2 types of ppl on this post...

the bellas: the cold heartless b*$@#&! who don't care about other ppls feelings and only want what they want.

and the jacobs: the sweet sweet big hearted idiots that get looked over, stepped on and used but those damn bellas lol
