The iPod 5G is the fifth generation of Apple Computer’s iPod digital audio player. It is also unofficially referred to as the iPod video. The fifth generation iPod was introduced on October 12, 2005, shortly after the introduction of the iPod nano.
The fifth generation iPod was updated on September 12, 2006. This update included a brighter screen, a search feature, gapless playback, new earphones, and longer battery life when playing videos. An 80 GB model also replaced the 60 GB model, which retains the same dimensions as its predecessor.

I got a 60 GB one with a blue/black theme and over a week worth of videos (family guy, futurama, south park, and movies!
I love mine. :) It helped me survive my transatlantic plane flight last summer.
I’ve only used 3.8GB of my 30, and have 2.5 DAYS worth of songs… plus some awesome TV show episodes like Miami Ink, Fairly OddParents, and Jackass. I’m such a girly-girl. :)

i love my 80 GB white ipod…i has a lot of podcasts, movies, music videos, mp3s photos…..cant get enough of it…
i love my 30gb but it's battery doesn't last long
lovemy ipod its only a 30G i wish i had the 80G since i put my anime on iti'v got my 80GB one as my birthday present. And, i really love it. It's kind a great activity by just listening ipod in the crowd. You just enjoy yourself with your fave music, and there's no one could stop you.
