Created sometime before 2003 when people in the US army decided to connect their computers together across the entire country for a massive pong tournament; The internet is the name given to the series of connections from computer to computer to other computers to more computers to….like all the computers that resembles a kind of a “web” of connections.
Usually everyone’s first use of the internet is going to an http “web site” like this one which has a unique address. On these sites a variety of content and links to other addresses is presented in a browser window where you the “user” can navigate. When you go to different locations on these “web sites” you are perceived to be “surfing” them. For example:
Person 1: “Hey wanna go to the playboy mansion tonight? I can get you in.”
person 2: “Nah thanks man, tonight I’m surfing the web.”
person 1: “oh cool what website will you be surfing the most?”
person 2:”playboy.com”
That’s Amazing you say?! Other than playboy what kind of web sites are there?
Well most sites are like free versions of playboy or “internet pornograhy” or “Pr0|\|z” for short which are really why the internet was created for but there are other sites as well!...but unfortunately most of them are gay.
For example: Facebook.com is the address of a particularly used website . It is basically a collection of pictures of the worthless people in the world made so normal people can laugh at them and their stupid lives. As the old saying goes: “Anybody who’s nobody is on facebook!”
Although facebook is the most used of it's kind there have been others; like "myspace" and "friendster" but many people figured out that these sites were just made so people could point and laugh at how lame they are.Other less gay uses of the internet are:
Online Gaming or "murder simulations" as they are often called, file Sharing through p2p or person to person protocols like “bitorrent” and Wikipedia

I find that most stuff is accurate, especially the stuff that nobody cares about, like obscure astronomical stuff, the history of lebanon, tupperware. stuff about celebrities, partisan politics, etc, yeah, i wouldn't take wikipedia's word for it
Yeah all that matters is that the subjects i am usually interested in are usually quite accurate… i usually use other sources as well <just to make sure>

While I find the initial statement a bit silly, the Internet is probably as important as the printing press and the radio was in their day. We have yet to realize the true usefullens and power of the World WIde Web. It makes Anarchy possible.
Because of internet, everytime i open my PC i saw my favorite actors and actresses. and it helps me in my studies..................
