This fantastic murder mystery is set in Oxford during the 1660’s. Characters include fictional and real life characters, all woven into an intricate thread which pulls the reader in completely. The description of the science and mathematics of the day are well worth the effort required to read this long book, but it’s the depiction of the prejudices and attitudes that may stick with you.
