Yamanaka Ino is a childhood friend of Sakura who helped the girl develop her own character. Sakura broke off their friendship upon discovering Ino liked the same boy as she did- Uchiha Sasuke.
As a member of the Yamanaka clan, Ino can control the minds of others. She can either enter minds, or disrupt a persons movements.
She and Sakura argue much, mostly over Sasuke although Ino seems to have gotten over him later on in the manga. Being a minor character, Ino does not appear as ofter as some other characters. When we see her, the majority of the time she is arguing with Sakura. Because of this, we rarely see any other side to the Yamanaka.

I totally love Ino as a character she is def a girl after my own heart.. i am praying her and shika end up together.. I think Temari should be with Iruka or someone for her own village... most people think ino is a prep and only into looks but she is extremely loyal friend just look at how she made up with sakura and also helped her even though they were rivals she is just awesome... also she has the highest chance in my opinion of coming the deadliest ninja if the writer would give her some awesome power like breaking her soul up and doing her mind transfers she could easier control a army i think and figure away not toleave her body unattended she would blow all the ninjas in class.. until the writer does this is is underpowered in my books
