Our vision and goal
Our vision is to spice up Sweden and Europe with colour, warmth and joy. To influence with Indian and oriental culture; to create a vision of another world.
Indiska adopted its code of conduct in 1998 and has since actively worked on how we, together with our suppliers shall achieve long-term and lasting improvements on the factories that produce our goods.
Our code of conduct is based on ILO: s conventions about working conditions and rights in working life and the UN's convention about children’s rights:
All suppliers must sign the code of conduct. They thereby promise to live up to the demands of Indiska’s code of conduct, and the already good laws that in general exist in the production countries. They also promise to see to that their sub-suppliers follow the demands of Indiska’s code of conduct and the domestic laws. In a respectful dialogue with our suppliers we go through the meaning of the code of conduct, which is one of our buying conditions.
