What makes iiNet a stand out ISP in Australia is they try to be on the cutting edge. They also offer a good deal of bandwidth, the service is reliable (unlike some ISP ’s ie Telstra), and they offer VOIP (called iiPhone). There VOIP rates are decent (you can obviously find better with certain calls), and iiPhone to iiPhone is free.

I can say iiNet is the best because I am a refugee from Telstra Bigpond, OptusNet and iPrimus. (By the way, whatever you do, don’t use Bigpond or Telstra for that matter, there prices are god awful and there service is unreliable)
