You have a gift for picking out quotes which lift peoples spirits-thank you so much,Zorca.I remember in the film Amadeus that a composer of the day tried to help the enthusiastic (and somewhat scathing) young Mozart to understand the role of 'Legend' in Opera-it's there because these stories somehow bring out the "eternal" in us.Mozart didn't try contradicting that-wisdom is wisdom.
I'm not a worshipper of John Lennon-I believe he was a thoughtful and clever human being who would not have wanted to be worshipped.But he had an extraordinary gift for songwriting.The song "Woman",written for his wife -for whom it is clear he had an incredible love-somehow achieves the same thing for me that many legends do-it sees the value of another human being and communicates it,wonderfully.For me,real love always touches eternity.
