Himeko is one of the two main characters from a lesbian-themed anime called Kannazuki no Miko. At the beginning of the series, she is very shy and insecure, but with help from Chikane, the other protagonist of the series, she grows into a strong, independant young woman. However, even with her newfound strength, she never looses her innocent heart, something that I, personally, found to be very endearing about her character.
Himeko loves Chikane with all her heart. And when the two must seperate, she vows to search for her until the end of her days.
