The book is a lifeline to me through hard times, the movie as well. The book really understands that nice guys have feeling too, a breakup isnt just one sided. My favorite book ever, the movie is up there in my “top 5 films”

i don’t know about favourite, but it’s pretty damn great.
One of the few examples of when both the movie and the book are great.

It’s also a great example of how the movie of a book can still be great even with changes—some big, like putting it in Chicago instead of London, and some small, like making Rob’s last name Gordon instead of Fleming.
