hide was the former lead guitarist of X Japan. He shone in X Japan with his amazing guitar skills and not forgetting, his trademark pink hair- albeit with different hair styles, the trademark colour remained. After X Japan disbanded, he was the lead guitarist/vocals of hide with Spread Beaver. He left us on 02.05.1998 but will live forever in our hearts. Rock On, our Pink Spider!

I feel really terrible asking this but how did he pass away? I just kind of figured out about him.
