This miniseries premiered on the Disney Channel in 1993. It's very enjoyable and charming and also has good music. It also followed the book by Johanna Spyri, mostly. It stars Noley Thornton in the title role, as well as Jason Robards, Patricia Neal, Lexi Randall, and Jane Seymour.
