Having a Best Friend of the opposite Sex

Is it weird that I have no desire to have male friends?

i duno abt wat u desire hun :P but i have a guy bestfriend which is just the BEST! i duno y but he can relate to me more than my girlfriends! its weird….

This is more complicated than people believe – it only works if the man isn't a complete arrogant, egotistical prick and the female isn't a self-absorbed skank. Neither of those people can be "friends" with the opposite gender. Actually, they can't really be friends with anyone, but I digress.

Unfortunately, demeter, I can only tell you what happens when you fall in love with your girl best friend who is 8 years older than you! In my case, it wasn’t a good idea, as she was already taken. :/

Im sorry AJ.  I really am.  sighs  Thats another problem….I have been with a guy for almost 7 yrs but then I started to fall for my best friend.  I guess I should just think of it as lesson learned and forget about it.  Or at least try to, but i have a feeling about how well thats gonna work out for me. ;)

Having guy friends is better than having girl friends because guys aren't all that…girly…unless they their joking around or their gay…having a gay guy friend would be cool though…I guess because well like a girl the gay guy friend would listen to your problems, but a gay guy friend can cheer you up more easily than one of your girl friends can. :]
