Hating That Everybody Obsesses over Twilight

not only that edward and bella get pressure everytime i thik it had to be the worst movie ive EVERRRR seen stop obsessing over it edward and bella r taken anyways god. . .

While I haven't read the books or seen the movie, I'm more on the "they're terrible" side.

But if you want a horrid book-based movie, go see Eragon.  Though I'd really recommend not actually paying money for it.

oh my gosh! i loved the book but the movie was fuckin horrible!  bella was kinda ugly and was having a twitching problem the whole time! i could wright a whole paragraph complaining about it but… im too lazy :P

I don't absolutly hate twilight,I like the book alot. and the movie was ok except for the fact that kristen stewart can't act worth a damn.

and I agree with Scaryeri, Eragon was a horrible movie, they srewed with the facts of the book so much I really regretted getting it.

I loved the books, and the movie was good, but like, come on. I like a lot of other things, like, MUFFINS, and do you see my obsessing over them?? You don't see me hanging muffin posters all over my room, do you??

I get sick of seeing an overload of ridiculous entries on bestuff related to one thing (i.e. twilight, tokio hotel, etc) but I also think it's a little silly to say it's best to hate on the people who create them... I personally find it off-putting that it's the biggest thing on the collage (as of my writing this). But I digress, people should just do a blanket "Edward Cullen" best and move on. We need less flourishes like "so-and-so's makeup" and "so-and-so's sparkling skin" -and- different wordings and variations of practically the same thing. >_>

Twilight is juvenile vampire love story. If you're somewhere around the age of the characters it might be easy for you to grasp the story. Come on every book gone movie everyone thinks it sucks. For me being an older person I actually enjoyed reading them. Main reason the character "Bella" actually has read and has heard of Emily Bronte, Charlotte Bronte and Jane Austin. You want good reading you read any books by them! If you're going to get crazy over something at least it be a classic book. Sense and Sensibility, Pride and the Prejudice, Mansfield Park, Emma, Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Persuasion.

sigh before i loved the book, later on, i still liked it but not THAT obsessed as some people, but then when the movie came, and all my non-twilight-fan friends saw it and liked it, they ruined what I liked about it ¬.¬

(Opinion started) I did love this at some point but it vanished. I bought the book but never really had time to read it (1st 7 pages.), but when the movie came out everybody (friends) went crazy and NEVER stopped ranting on and on and on about it. Then when my friends got the movie they made me watch it with them! 7 times of watching twilight or a whole WEEK! I Just hate it now. >///< The movie is ingrained in my head. _ (Opinion ended)

i liked the movie but the book was horrible they only part i liked was at the end when bella almost died. and its relle annoying that every1 who wouldnt of read it cuz its about vampire and they r too cool 2 read it is the most obsessed about it. if it wasnt turned into a movie only the people who loves vampire would be reading it. it relle annoying going around school seeing the kids and even the teachers reading the book. like come on get a life. and hearing every1 say "OMG edward was sooo hot!" he is the uglyest person in the whole movie. i just want 2 kill every1 who says that. get over twilight it wasnt that good!

corny/cliche love story.

i can summarize it in a few broken up sentences.

weak fragile girl meets hot vampire guy. they fall in love. werewolf falls in love with girl too. evil vampires and werewolfe against good vampie. about 1 chapter of conflict. goes back to corny love. the end.

1st - I've read the books and thy're good. Thy're not amazing; nothing worthy of freaking out over but thy WERE good. Just bcuz u dont like it, doen't mean it's bad ppl!! So stop saying it was. If the book really WAS bad, it wouldnt have bcome popular geniouses.

2nd - I also saw the movie - It was horrible in MY OPINION. But u dont hear me consantly whining about how much i ddnt like it!! JUST because u dont like the movie, DOESNT mean tht all of twilight is BAD, and you SHOULDN'T constantly criticise it. And since the books came out FIRST ppl, u shouldnt b saying "The movie was good, but the books weren't.". If the books weren't good, thr wouldnt have BEEN a movie. Common sense...

3rd - If u dont like twilight, FINE! but stop insulting the books&movies bcuz u know wht?? U couldnt write anything HALF as good or as popular as it!! Geez ppl... i DO agree tht the twilight series has been overblow, but hey, tht's life. Get. Over. It. Overblown or not, it doesnt change the quality of the books. The books were popular BEFORE it became commercialised and tht's because thy were GOOD BOOKS.

4th - All u ppl out there who haven't read or seen twilight and say tht it's dumb, all i can say is ths: You ppl r BEYOND pathetic. Not ALL, but majority of u only refuse to see/read it because you're trying to b "different". "That series is sooo lame. I'm too cool to read somethning that popular.
