They're not related, and Harry actually thinks of Hermione as more like a sister.

I don't think it's weird at all. I think it's cute and was like fate…in a weird kind of way. She loved him way back at the beginning and he didn't and then he liked her and couldn't have her and then they came together. It was inevitable.
