The first Hary Potter book, and more recently, movie. Directed by Chris Columbus. Starring: Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron), Emma Watson (Hermione), Robbie Coltrane (Hagrid), Richard Harris (Dumbledore) and Alan Rickman (Snape).

Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone was the title in Canada, the UK and a few other places, I think.

So far the best movie for me bcoz its the most canon.
I'm reading it currently for the first time, after years of avoiding the franchise. Strangely, I find myself enjoying it… :/
It’s sad when something so good, gets so big, that people starts avoiding it. But I’m glad you started reading it.:)
...and finished! Completed it on Friday and now i'm onto the next one!
This and the second one are the best in the series, book and movie either.
