Hanson started out as a hugely popular bubblegum pop band, and broke out with their monster hit MMMBop in 1997… but nearly a decade later, and they’ve not only matured in the usual ways (marriage, kids, etc), but professionally and musically as well. And yes, the fans have matured as well. Touring colleges with their more laid-back acoustic sound, they’re not for the middle school set anymore.
