Hand-Knit Socks

Whether they are made from a thick winter wool or a fine cashmere or silk, hand-knit socks just feel good. Nothing made commercial can compare especially if they are custom made for your feet. For the knitter, socks are a highly portable, relatively quick project. They are perfect for practicing new stitch patterns. Sock yarns are available in many different fibers, colors, variegations, and even self-striping varieties. The result is a unique, cushy sock.
