A fine comfort food…my kids sit and salivate waiting for them to come off the grill. They like American cheese, but the really good ones are made with Gruyerre.
you make it on the grill?
One of those flat electric grill…a griddle. We cook so many at once, we go through a loaf of bread. The kids friends have grill cheese radar.
Mmmmmmm but i dnt grill it i microwave it… is that bad.

In my house it is customary to use a frying pan.
loved these as a kid, grilled cheese and tomato soup was a staple of mine :P
After having made them myself, I have a whole new appreciation for my Mom who used to make them for me. They are easy to make, but never walk away from them, or even turn your back on them. There is a fine line between perefect and utterly inedible.
I like mine with ham or bacon.
