Oh, I’m sure you probably could. There are plenty of color-blind people out there, and they generally seem to be getting along just fine without a problem, and without green.

That's not the color's problem though. It's the toxic's problem.

Some scientists theorize that at some point in our planet's history, the vast majority of plant life may not have been green, but purple instead. Like the skin of a plum. Apparently green light is more abundant, and could thus be turned into energy more efficiently, and modern day plants reflect green light rather than use it. The theory goes that green plants eventually gained the upper hand in nature because of an atmospheric change, that favored the green type over the purple.

In that case, I want plants with pink leaves!

I am told green is a "horny color" not sure if i spelled that right... i hate that word with a passion. if someone told me they were horny i would laugh at them... it is not sexy at all. yeah that was off subject i was just curious. My eyes turn green sometimes. they are usually a golden brown or a kind of amber. maybe that's why my mother named me amber hmmm.... something to ponder.

Green means spring and jealousy too. But unfortunately my favorite season isn't spring, and I don't consider myself as the jealous type.
