"Give Me Love (Give Me Peace on Earth)" is a song by George Harrison and is the lead track on his 1973 album Living in the Material World. The song was released as a single in May 1973, hitting number one in the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at the end of June. Harrison's single replaced "My Love" by his former bandmate from The Beatles, Paul McCartney, at the top of the chart, and in turn was replaced at number one by "Will It Go Round in Circles" by Billy Preston, who played with Harrison and McCartney during the sessions for Let It Be in 1969. This song is featured in "The Concert For George" where it was performed by Jeff Lynne. Brazilian singer Marisa Monte covered this song on her live album "A Great Noise" (1997). Also Dave Davies of The Kinks recorded his version of this song on his "Kinked" album (2006)(although his version was released earlier on "Songs from the Material World - a Tribute to George Harrison" in 2003). The song was also occasionally performed by Elliott Smith during his concerts.
