Okays she’s done X-Files, Bleak House, The House Of Mirth, The Mighty Celt, A Cock and Bull Story, The Last King of Scotland, and a lot more. Obviously.
But yes she’s awesome.
In 1996 she was voted World’s Sexiest Woman by FHM readers.
She has won numerous awards including a Golden Globe, Emmy, two SAG awards, and many more. She was recently nominated for a prestigious BAFTA , and an Emmy for her portrayal of Lady Dedlock in Bleak House.
Now based in London, she has starred in two West End productions; What The Night is For, and The Sweetest Swing in Baseball, both perfromances got her critical acclaim, even when the plays got mixed reviews. She has hinted she will do another play in 2008.
February will see the release of her latest film, Straightheads, which is certain to cause a stir, due to it’s controversial storyline and graphic violence.
She is also expected to star in No-One Gets off In This Town, alongside Brenda Blethyn and John Hurt.

SHE IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL WOMAN ON EARTH ! She is amazing, wonderfully talented and a great mother. She really rocks! Oh, and yes, the most adorable freckles! :) She’s my favourite actress!

I think it’s just a statement: she is still underrated after all, though it’s not fair. I wish her skills were just appreciated as they deserved, no less no more :-)

I’d rather her be underrated. I’d rather have to go out searching for her films, rather than having her shoved down my throat all the time in the media. I’d get sick of her then, and frankly, I would rather not get sick of her (:
I SIMPLY LOVE HER < hands down.
Straightheads in May issue of “Sight & Sound”: “Gillian Anderson’s controlled yet vulnerable performance as Alice stands out and editing gives her character plenty of room to breathe.” ;-) And all in all, a good review.

It's scary how much I am in love with her.
I absolutely adore the woman! She is not only goregous but has amazing, wonderfully expressive blue eyes, a beautiful smile and the most hilarious/contageous laugh that just makes you want to smile. And yet she's so underrated as an actress, which I can't understand because she's a great dramatic actress; one only needs to see her work on "The X-Files" or her performance in "The House of Mirth" to realize it. I wish she did more movies with bigger parts for her to play but at least I can hope there will be a third "X-Files" movie.
