Geta are a sandal that have a thong. Geta are made of wood that is painted and lacquered or left natural (not lacquered and painted). They can have two or one supported piece(s) below the base board called teeth, the teeth can very in height . Or geta can look more like a zori sandal, with a space in between the heel of the sandal and the front.
