I was recently reminded of the brilliant Pop Will Eat Itself's song 'Get the Girl, Kill the Baddies (Ruff Justice)' which I hadn't heard for a while and it inspired this, as its lyrics refer to Total Recall:

"...I don't wanna spoil it for you, Doug, but rest assured, by the time the trip is over, you get the girl, kill the bad guys, and save the entire planet. Now you tell me...isn't that worth a measly 300 credits?"

Isn't there something wrong with the chronology? If you get the girl first there is a large possibility you stop to worry about the planet and the baddies.

Ha ha ha! It's a fair point! If the baddies have the girl, it maybe that you have to rescue her, and then escape, killing bad guys and saving the world in the process. However, chances are high that you're going to kill a few baddies before you get to the girl, so perhaps technically that should come first. Saving the entire planet should definitely be last though, as you have the girl already, so someone's at hand to 'thank you' for saving the world. If you know what I mean...
