Gazette or the GazettE (ガゼット), is an indie Japanese rock band of the visual kei variety. The band was formed in early 2002 and is currently signed to PS Company, a notable production company that has also served the likes of 雅miyavi, alice nine., and Kagrra,. To many non-fans, they’re compared to Dir en grey, but in actuality the bands have few similarities. This comparaison held true for some of the band’s older songs such as ‘maximum impulse’ in which they mix dark and heavy verses with joyful and upbeat choruses like on a lot of Dir en grey’s songs. However during an interview in the magazine FOOL ’s MATE , most members have cited Luna Sea to be their favorite and most respected band.

 The name change is due to Gazette being written in kana while the GazettE is always written in English. If you look at early Gazette merchandise it's always  ガゼット

i've been listening to "The Gazette's" music for a month now, they're great..... Cool

as i write my comment, i am currently listening to "Chizuru" and Cassis" Smile

i don't speak japanese... Frown but by watching them, the way they sing, act and perform, the listener will understand what the band wants to send out to their fans...

music is really a good outlet of self expression, and i must say, they ROCK!! \m/Yell

THE GAZETTE=GODS!!!

They are the best band ever!I love their music!And I have a question here:Why do I cry everytime I listen to some of their songs like Bath Room and Cassis?

Ruki-san's voice is amazing!

I love them!They are all my life!

I couldn't live without their songs ...to me they are as important as oxygen..
