Garfield is a comic strip created by Jim Davis featuring Garfield the cat, Odie the dog, and their owner Jon Arbuckle. As of 2007, it is syndicated in roughly 2,570 newspapers and journals and it currently holds the Guinness World Record for being the world’s most widely syndicated comic strip. The popularity of the strip has led to an animated television series, several animated television specials and two theatrical feature-length live-action films, as well as a large amount of Garfield merchandise.
Garfield is a fictional character in the comic strip Garfield by Jim Davis. He is a lazy, fat, selfish, orange, anthropomorphic tabby cat who enjoys eating, sleeping, stealing Jon's meals, and being mean to Odie by kicking him off the table. He hates Mondays because he suffers bad luck on those days, such as being struck by a pie coming from nowhere, and considers himself to be more intelligent than humans, dogs, or other animals.

Those new movies are no good, of course.
No, they’re not. Even my 4-year-old nephew prefers my DVDs of the cartoon to the crap movies.
I agree, the movies sucked. it wasn’t anything like the comic strip

I like in the comic strip when Garfield eats so much that his belly outgrows his feet, and he can’t walk!! That’s funny.
