deep fried batter with powdered sugar on top. it tastes better than it sounds. ;)
Ohh we have the same here which are always sold at fairs and stuff, but they come in rings (likes doughnuts).

There’s always a line (or queue if you prefer) 50 deep at the funnel cake stand. They smell great too! :P

They're very fattening, but very good! I order mine with cinnamon and sugar sometimes. It's very messy too.

I tried it for the first time at the Alaska State Fair this year. Very good!
