If I could only have three zombie movies, they’d be:
1) Zombie – Fulci’s masterpiece, the darkest, most disturbing zombie movie ever made. People talk about the “eye-splinter scene”, but that’s only one intense moment of many.
2) Dawn Of The Dead – The original Romero version…a ton of atmosphere, so many allusions to societal woes. I love this film.
And for number three, dare I say it…
3) Shaun Of The Dead – I thought I would hate this flick…what does comedy have to do with zombies? I expected the worst, and came out loving it…seen it about a half dozen times. Highly recommended!
