Without my friends, I would definitely have killed myself by now. They keep me alive and mildly sane.
We as a species need this connection. We are a social creature by nature and need to share, express and feel that we belong. Without this emotional and psychological connection all is lost. Loneliness, isolation, seclusion… these are factors that can lead to frustration, anger, hate. The proof is out there, i.e.: the increasing incidents of school shootings. What do the survivors always say about the shooters? “He was a loner, didn’t fit in, had no friends.” We need friends to not only survive, but to actually enjoy life. without friends the world is a very lonely place.
... by the way, does anyone know who the brunette with the shades is? she is fine!

Male friends. Yeah, they are great and real friends, when compared to the female ones (in general; there are exceptions of course), but they always have a secret crush on you – if you are attractive (still in general, there are aaaalways excepions).
