Cucumbers marinated and stored in vinegar for a while, then fried to one's heart's attack content. Easily the best appetizer on the planet, going above and beyond even calamari. Best eaten as chips, not spears, dipped in ranch dressing for flavoring.

Yeah, trust me, I thought so too.
Until I had some. They're quite deceptive - the way they look is inversely proportionate to how tasty they are.
What if I don't like pickles?
From what I've noticed, the frying seems to cut down the pickle taste quite a lot. Similar to how fried fish doesn't taste as fishy as non-fried fish.
