Whether you love to hunt, fish, camp, shop, race cars, go clubbing, make music, meet people, it does not matter. Florida offers everything and is probably the most diverse state in the country. The weather is awesome year-round assuming it isn’t raining. Up north you will find good hunting, hiking, and camping spots. You can visit the Gulf Coast for the amazing beaches or you can hit the east side for full access to the Atlantic. The beach scene is awesome for surfers, skimmers, boaters, fisherman, and people who just like to catch rays. There are four major Universities (Miami, Florida, Florida State, and South Florida) and lots of other good colleges scattered all over the state. We also have the Everglades, which is truly a sight to see. Florida is home to almost everything that you could possibly want out of life, and those who live here are truly blessed! Here’s a good list of things you might find appealing about Florida: #Beaches (everyone!) #Lakes/Rivers (fisherman!) #Forestry (great for outdoorsy people) #Everglades (only in Florida!) #Big Cities (Tampa, Jacksonville, Orlando, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale) #Shopping (home to some of the best malls in the country) #The Keys (beautiful) #Relaxation (lots of retirement communities and calm residential areas for those not looking for the loud and fast side of Florida) #The Racing Scene (dangerous, often illegal, but gets your adrenaline pumping like nothing else!) #Good Drugs (if you’re into that sort of thing) #Bars/Night Clubs (Miami is home to some of the most outrageous clubs in the world ranging from Hip-Hop clubs, Dance/Rave clubs, Adult clubs, and of course some very laid-back bars if you’re not trying to get crazy) #Real Estate (housing in Florida is very unique, you will notice most once you hit South Florida) #People (most people in Florida are friendly, but just like anywhere else you will meet some that you wish you hadn’t) #Theme Parks (Busch Gardens, Disney World, Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure) #Sports (teams in every major sport: Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Marlins, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Miami Heat, Orlando Magic) #Extreme Sports (skateboarding, in-line skating, bmx biking, surfing, skimboarding, wakeboarding, wake skating, jet skis, parasailing)
There is so much more to this state that I’m sure I forgot to list. I love this place!
The only downsides: TRAFFIC and HURRICANES !

Not only what you listed but there’s a mix of cultures and growing up there you learn more. For example, in Miami you have a million Cubans and other nationalities but mostly cuban.I mean it’s awesome and unique place to vacation, party or grow up.I grew up there but I had to move but if I could I would totally move back there!!!!
i was born there =P…but i moved away 4 years ago and now i live in new jersey….i wish i still lived there
I love Florida - I am a comedienne and it's a great place to live for just about anything - except skiing.
I might be moving there…I did hear there were flying cockroaches of DOOM…?
Florida would be the absolute last place in the United States on my list. It has all the stuff I detest (heat, humidity, rainy afternoons, traffic, rude people, glitzty tourist traps, urban crime, no mountains, ugly critters) and nothing I want (snow, mountains, forests, skiing, four seasons).
