Probably the single greatest film ever made.
nothing’s similar…
This is your life, and it’s ending one minute at a time.
fav line…
i’m a jack’s smirking revenge.

I wont watch the movie. I read the book and my friend Bobby tried to get me to watch the movie and once Marla first appeared, I was so mad because I had a different interpretation of what she looked like. I refused to watch anymore of it. I love chuck palahniuk and all of his books and I think movies of them ruins it.
That’s interesting. Having read the novel and seen the film, I have to disagree. The film stands alone as an excellent piece of cinema.
I think the movie is better than the book. If you want to read Chuck Palahniuk’s best novel, try Diary.
definitely one of the best movies ever.
I am Jack’s rave review
Probably the most overrated, as well.
Still great!
I think the message and the principles of it got buried under exactly the same consumerist flock mentality bullshit that the characters rail so violently against. Which is just the most supreme irony.
soundtrack.
Brad Pitt’s body is perfect in the movie! I can’t stop looking!
true that…but he’s looking hot too in Snatch, with the same body, i think! :P
I can’t stop looking at Meatloaf! Just give me a bottle of ketchup and let me loose… ROARRRRR ;)
A woman who thinks Brad Pitt is hot? Wonders never cease!
I don’t think he’s that hot now, he looked good back in his day. I have moved on to Matt Damon. Watch The Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremicy and I think you will too…even if you are a guy. Haha!
Supremacy*
an outstanding film
if you like Fight Club because Brad Pitt is “omg so hott!!!” i think you’re missing the point… he is though isn’t he? ;)
this is an amazing movie the first ime i saw it i was mind boggled by the end
Well that's easy enough to explain… you see they spliced in a single frame of a 'nice big cock' so I can see why your mind would be boggled by that… BTW, did I mention that I am the king of Boggle, there is none higher, I getz 11 points off the word quagmire, fools can't see me, that's how it is, that's how I like it and that's my bizz…
Holy Shit you weren't joking i just watched the movie again and played it in slow motion and you weren't joking its really there hahaha! It truely is mind boggling even more now then ever!!
ahahaha, and what's even better is that they had to make the pubes dark so that people wouldn't mistake it for Brads… oh that Hollywood, with their movies and their.. make-out parties…
haha I noticed that when I watched the movie when I was 14.
You guys are joking right? :x
nope :) have you ever seen the movie?
Of course, more than once. :)
ok well you know how tyler durden spices in sex scenes to kids movies? well at the end right before the credits is you play the movie in slow motion, they spliced in a frame of a 'nice big cock' as kinky wrote. not to mention during the whole movie they splice in single frames of brad pitt (clothed) during the whole movie :)
Wow! :x I'll have to check that! I never noticed! :x
The idea behind it being that you leave the theatre thinking that Tyler Durden is still alive and is actually working the projector in the theatre you're in.
The quick flashes of Tyler in the first portion of the movie hint that the narrator is starting to let little parts of Tyler come through…
I heard that some trademarks like Coca Cola used the same technique to make you want to drink Coca Cola (in the Coca Cola case of course). :) I think it was banished or something, I'm not sure about all this anyways.
What coke thing?
Wow, that name really fits you…
LOL! I was going to say something similar in another forum just for fun, damn!
@ Kink: Shut up I just have my moments :P
@ adn: What exactly are you laughing at? If its at kinks comment then you shouldn't encourage him
But seriously what coke thing???
Oh! Well… You suck Kink! You should now how to treat a lady! Even if… you know… :x
It's being a loonnnng moment!
Well the moment would end if you would just tell me
And where would be the fun? Why don't you read the first comments about all of this "single frame" conversation? :P
ok I take it all back! Kink had every right to say the name fits me and you were right, adn, it was a severlly long moment but i totally missed the whole coke comment i guess when i was reading the conversation! Sry you guys i cant help it sometimes the blonde in me just comes out. Xo
Damn… I was hoping it would last a little longer. :(
Well you gave it away when you told me to go re-read the comments, but dont worry im sure I'll have another "moment" some time ;)
Damn… I'll wait for another "moment" then! Call me or something when you'll have one! :P
O ya no problem next time I feel a "moment" coming on I'll give ya a ring :)
