I enjoy it, but it gives me such an icky feeling. I suppose that’s the point.

“Few people understand the psychology of dealing with a highway traffic cop. Your normal speeder will panic and immediately pull over to the side. This is wrong. It arouses contempt in the cop-heart. Make the bastard chase you. He will follow.”

Suddenly there was a terrible roar all around us and the sky was full of what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car

I watched most of this movie last night, it was on prime time so it was edited sucks. I’ve seen it many times but this was the first time that I watched it sober… You cannot truly appreciate a movie like this unless you are on mind altering drugs. The cinematography alone is designed to mess with you! Not only that but you start to feel empathy with Depps character. I’m off drugs now so I don’t know if I will ever watch this movie again; it’s just not the same :(

Jesus, did I say that? Or just think it? Was I talking? Did they hear me?

the good n bads of drugs, great story. ill copy everyone else an do a quote

"A drug person can learn to cope with things like seeing their dead grandmother crawling up their leg with a knife in her teeth. But no one should be asked to handle this trip."

an of course suprised this wasnt the first one if ur into drugs
"We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon"
