best american sitcom? wtf?
I know! I heard that there was a US remake, but that it doesn’t bare even mentioning.
It’s just the most hilarious programme ever; My Lovely Horse, Fintan Stack, Mrs Doyle’s tea and cakes, fights with Victor ‘I don’t believe it’ Meldrew, the tunnel of goats, Jack’s candles of earwax, The priests that impersonate Kraftwerk, Father Stone visiting, the hairy hands of St Klabberts, the Holy Stone of Clonrichet, the three ages of Elvis, Dougal being bathed by Mrs Doyle, if this fails to make you laugh you must be dead. Surreal comedy at it very very best!
