I have to wonder how many “Creationists” notice the evolution of religion… Mosaic Judaism into Christianity into Islam etc etc… Always evolving into something that will suit the needs of the people in a certain place at a certain time (well, that will suit the needs of the current ruling sector anyway).
They all get borrowed and evolve. Lots of religions liked the ancient Mesopotamian gods and snatched a few of those up for themselves. Messianic cults have always been popular too.
I've just watched the video three times. Whoever wrote it has a very good grasp of the terms and timescales involved; but doesn't seem to actually say anything that is coherent.
Also, anyone who can bandy around the hoary 'reach a crescendo' gaffe gets my NO vote instantly.
Footnote: a crescendo (=growing {tension}) reaches a climax.
I hope that one day in the future people will see what idiots they were for believing that a god ever existed. Evolution teaches understanding…...religion is a pack of lies.

Simply the best…. very good, congratulations!!!!!!! =)
we are all part of the same compost heap
Not only the best – the only!
Phoebe Buffay didn’t believe in evolution. :)
‘Yeah. Monkeys… Darwin… Nice story but I just don’t buy.’

Interesting point, NomiLove. You could probably build a good thesis up from that point of view. Do religions ever become extinct like species do?
Shakers.
But that’s a bit different.
History is littered with dead religions.
How about the ancient Greek gods? That’s extinct.
Well, yes, but since some of them survive in Hinduism (Uranus is the same name as Varuna)... but I think you’re right, iyp.

Yes, what is it about the obsession with Messiahs and Mahdis and Kwisatz Haderachs (the phrase used in Dune)?
People don’t trust their salvation to themselves, perhaps?
Probably. Some people do believe the most outrageous twaddle if it’s fed to them in the right way…
Not that this has anything to do with that!
(Hee hee…) :)
Ah, Nomilove! I must have just missed you last night. Catch up with you soon.
The new evolution...

That one isn't.

Existential despair holds more grace when you're made of clay.

If God is a pack of lies, then your face is a pack of God.
If God is not a pack of lies, then your face is a pack of lies.
