Bert and Ernie, they are the classic good muppet, bad muppet!! I think Ernie is the most polular (gotta love the laugh). I think Bert, I don’t know. . . he had some issues!! As a kid I tried to distance myself from Bert, he was mean! He was mean to Ernie.
There is no good or bad. Good and bad are intertwined. Bert exhibits a positive side just as Ernie exhibits a negative side.

My friends and I always liked Ernie better because he was more like us, doing silly things, etc. It was easier to relate to him. Bert on the other hand was a killjoy, whenever Ernie was doing something fun, Bert would be right there to stop him, also Bert was more of an authority figure. Berts voice was also very harsh.

I watched Bert and Ernie on Sesame Street since I was a kid, and now they are considered a couple becuz people nowdays make everything into that sort of thing, they seem like brothers to me, Bert is the older brother, if they were a couple they would sleep in the same bed together, even on a kids show.
Uhh...yeah. Aren't these guys brothers? That's what I always thought.
